Certified Stroller Strides, Fit4Baby and Body Back Instructor

Lynsey Monterastelli was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor's degree from the California State University at Fullerton with a degree in Speech & Business Communications.

Motherhood brought on a new fitness perspective for Lynsey. Finding time, energy, and logistical support for her active lifestyle became a greater challenge. Joining Stroller Strides after the birth of her second baby alleviated the guilt and anxiety of a regular workout routine as a mommy, and provided instant friendships with like-minded women. Those friendships are growing into lifelong bonds and the workouts continually challenge and motivate Lynsey to be a healthy, fit role model for her children. After eighteen months of being a client at South Irvine Stroller Strides, Lynsey became a certified Stroller Strides, Fit for Baby and Body Back Instructor, specializing in pre- and post-natal exercise. At the same time she become the owner of Stroller Strides Irvine & Tustin.

Lynsey now teaches Stroller Strides and Body Back classes and develops special events for the company from her home, where she resides with her husband, Shawn, and her two daughters, Katie and Tessa. Her experience in business communications, administration, public speaking, and marketing gives her such an excitement and love for developing this business!
To this day, Lynsey feels that Stroller Strides and Body Back were the best thing that could have happened for her and her family and continually feels blessed to be surrounded by many amazing moms and their little ones.

Lauren Reid grew up in San Diego with a big crazy family, lots of pets and some of the best life-long friends a girl could ask for.  She stayed active with neighborhood rollerblade adventures, softball, and competitive swimming.   She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Liberal Studies. After college she taught Special Education and married her high school sweetheart. She was finishing up her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and treating children with severe emotional disturbances when she found out she had a little bun in the oven.  She had all intentions of returning to work after having her daughter Lily in 2008 but when 3 months of maternity leave were up, Lauren couldn't bring herself to do it.  The relief of not having to go back to work was very short-lived when she realized how isolating, depressing and difficult it was to be a stay at home mom. Finding Stroller Strides of Irvine and Tustin completely changed everything.  What a difference daily exercise, sunshine, and community made for her and Lily! Soon after, Lauren attended training and became certified to become a Stroller Strides instructor.  She had her second daughter, Taylor, in 2010. After 6 weeks of being cooped up with a newborn and wild two year old, she couldn't wait to get back to Stroller Strides. Once again, it lifted that dark curtain of postpartum blues and she was able to continue instructing and attending classes.  She feels stronger and more fit now, after two kids, than she ever has in her adult life.  Beyond that she is SO grateful and happy to be a part of such an amazing village of women!

Joanna Kuehn grew up in Hacienda Heights, California where she enjoyed cheerleading and dance. She graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in dance in 2002. Joanna

then received a Masters in Education at Azusa Pacific University in 2004. Her love of dance and fitness let her to become the cheer coach at the elementary school where she taught from 2004 to 2009. Later, this passion for dance and fitness drove her to become a group exercise instructor at 24 Hour Fitness in 2005. Since then teaching fitness has been an enjoyable hobby for Joanna.
After having her first daughter, Joanna was searching for activities that would benefit her daughter as well as herself. She still taught classes at the gym, but had to arrange for a babysitter for every class and was never able to get to the gym for her own workouts. That is when she found Stroller Strides. Joanna arrived at her first Stroller Strides class thinking that they would just be walking around a park with a group of mommies and babies, however to her surprise there were weight bearing exercises along with socialization and play! She was
hooked immediately!! After her second baby girl was born, Joanna decided it was time to become a Stroller Strides instructor. She went to training to become a Stroller Strides and Fit4Baby instructor in October 2010 and has been enjoying teaching with her two little girls by her side. "Through Stroller Strides we have become stronger, healthier and happier individuals. My girls and I have made life long friends!" Joanna currently resides in North Tustin, California with her husband, Chad, and their two daughters, Chloe and Burklee.

Tamar Dorna grew up in the small town of Brighton, Michigan.  During high school, she was involved in competitive cheerleading.  After high school, she went to Michigan State University where she majored in Mechanical Engineering.  Her 1st job out of college moved her to Charlotte, NC where she met her husband, Ashley.  Jobs moved them once again, this time to sunny southern California.

Tamar has two daughters, Harper and Scarlett.  Life was more of a change after the birth of Harper than she could have imagined. Her life went from managing a global team and traveling all over the world, to "managing" a baby that seemed to cry all the time and feeling stuck at home. Stroller Strides changed motherhood to an amazing, rewarding and positive experience. It meant getting out, exercising, making friends, learning tricks and tips on raising kids, finding out other moms didn't have it all figured out either....... And so much more!!!!!!!
